Almost all of them are compatible with windows 7 today. Ipod is the most well known mp3 player and is very reliable. But there other mp3 players that are cheaper and have more features.

A lot of them are compatible with 7 today.....give me an idea how much you want to spend, and what you're looking for.....how much capacity, video/no video, etc....and I can give you a suggestion then.

    Hello !!

I use WinAmp !! It works great. You could also use Jet Player a little more advance but works great !!

    Hope this helps,

Hard drive player for mostly audio, probably your best bet is a new iPod Classic 160GB. Runs from $225-$250, has a 2.5" screen, but is mainly intended for audio. There aren't very many hard drive players left.....most all the new ones use flash memory, which costs more per gigabyte. And the flash players are much smaller capacity......highest one right now is iPod Touch 64GB, but that is like $400.

I would actually go about $30 higher and get a Zune HD 32GB. For that $30, you get video as well as audio, HD radio and you get to use the Zune software as opposed to iTunes.
