Is there a way to change thumbnails of videos?

I have a lot of TV shows and movies, and I would like to change their thumbnails to something else. Most of the times the thumbnail is of the first frame of the video. A lot of times this is just a black screen... Is there any possible way of changing the video thumbnails? Thanks.

You can tell your computer to use icons instead of thumbnails and then set your own icons for entire file types or individual files.

Right Click Computer > Properties > Advanced System Settings > Advanced Tab > Performance Box > Settings Button > Select Custom > Uncheck Show Thumbnails or something similar.

I have heard that the app Tag&Rename will do that. Meaning, you can generate a thumb from a frame.
