    In K lite, this thumbnail generation potion is in the installation page . If you want to stick in K lite, configure it

    i tryed those i have k lite installed instead and some of the flv files are showing previews but none for avi

    yes but it it shows no avi very few mp4 and flv thumbnail

    No thumbnails at all ? As far as I know, windows 7 can generate avi thumbnails automatically. you can check for a system scan ... open an elevated command prompt (start > all programs > accessories > command prompt > right click > run as admin ) and type sfc \scannow there to check for if there any system faults .

    P.s. it will set everythings to windows default .

    for avi only one video clip is generated and the rest is icons

    i did it and it said that is found no violations and as so \scannow
    i changed the sign to sfc /scannow
      My Computer
