HOW to burn a whole tv series(.avi) on a DVD

hi, there

i am currently using nero start smart essentials, and i would like to burn a whole a series to a DVD. i dont want to compromise the quality. hoe do i do this?????

PLEASE HELP :sarc:

What is it a "whole series" of? How long in total? What is the total file size of all your avi files?

Does your Nero essentials include Nero Vision ? Otherwise you will need other program to convert in dvd format.

Well you wont get that on a standard DVD. It would go on a dual layer DVD but be aware you need a compatible DVD player to play it!
The very good freebie Burn Aware does a standard DVD, not sure about dual layer.

Whether or not you do have Nero Vision, the best option to convert and burn video files to DVD is ConvertXtoDVD - AVI to DVD Video Converter to burn on DVD . As Mitchell65 advised, Burn Aware is a good free alternative, and another one is Free DVD Maker - Free software downloads and software reviews - CNET Download.com


As it is 6 GB, it will need a dual layer DVD at least. But if the 6 GB is of a smaller bitrate and more than say six hours, the output quality will be hampered. But it is possible to put the entire using ConvertX .... however poor the quality may be .

Some other infos like duration, file format, bitrates etc, may be provided ?

To convert AVI to DVD for my downloads that are AVI
I use a program called ConvertXtoDVD

Read this document:
How to Burn AVI onto a DVD

Hope it helps, it worked for me and with high large volume DVDS

So you are saying not all drives can read a DVD-R DL disc?
