Windows Live Photo Gallery crash

I just installed Windows Live Photo Gallery on Win 7 RC1 x86. The installation completed without error, however the program crashes after running for about 15 seconds. An icon appears briefly in the tray which I think has to do with the online synchronization option (for online storage) and then the app crashes. Has anyone else seen this and is it a known bug? This is actually the first time I've tried WLPG, which I wanted to use to sync my pictures across multiple PC's.

There appears to be no fix for this at the moment so I've uninstalled it.

W7 Photo Viewer Crashes My PC

Just installed W7 from XP. Also have learned that clicking on a graphic (JPG) to view it in W7 photo viewer crashes my pc. Here's what else I've learned:

NVIDIA 7900 GT/GTO card wouldn't run with W7 photo viewer. WORKAROUND: Changed the default "open with" to photoshop elements 7. Also uninstalled the drivers for the 7900 card that supposedly are designed for W7 and were only recently released. They too crash my pc. I've been able to leave the card in the pc, enabled, but with a different default photo viewer. Has been working for hours this way, FYI.
