Preview Images at Native Size, not Full Screen

I'm using Windows Preview (from the contextual menu) to view image files. Pressing F11 results in a nice black background, but re-sizes the image larger than it's original, 100% size. It stretches the image to fill the monitor resolution. If you're viewing a 600px web image, this obviously looks terrible.

Mac OS X "slideshow" feature displays image files at their native resolution (100%), not stretched to fill the screen.

Is there a preference setting to fix this in Windows 7 Preview? Or maybe a hack to preview (in full screen mode) image files viewed at 100%?

    Thanks!

I'm not aware of any method to do this, although there may be a registry tweak out there somewhere. I highly suggest you download an alternative to the native program if you use the preview function often. Fastone Image Viewer is a good alternative and will have more options than the native program.
