Premiere Pro CS5 Export to Tape Issue

Anyone here using Premiere Pro CS5 with DV Cameras and/or Decks?

I am having an issue Exporting the Timeline to Tape, it exports black and no audio.
All of the settings are correct, using a Sony DSR-11 DVCAM Deck as well as a Panasonic DV-2030 Camcorder and it records black to both of them.

It will capture and control the camera and deck just fine, just won't Export to Tape.

I can open up the project in CS4 and Export to Tape to both devices just fine, so the hardware is working correctly.

Just want to know if anyone is having issues or if it is working for them. Adobe Forums don't have anything about the issue there.

Oh, and it's not just my machine, my friend has the same issue with CS5 on a brand new Dell i7 machine (he was having the issue first and loaned me his DSR-11 to test on my machine).

I'll be calling Adobe today if they are open or on Monday and see what they have to say about this issue.

P.s. I bought a second video card and am now running triple screens,

OK, I have been to hell and back with this same problem. I tried using the "Export To Tape" function on another piece of software- Corel videostudio and it worked flawlessly.

Eventuall...................y I found that if you load up your video, into timeline on CS5, then go click on <SEQUENCE>
<SEQUENCE SETTINGS> then <PLAYBACK SETTINGS> Inside this menu, select <EXTERNAL DEVICE>
Then under <Export Settings> select <EXTERNAL DEVICE>

Finally - I can export to tape!

Adobe needs a kick in the arse for this mess!

Sorry! One more thing, you need to go into <PROJECT> <PROJECT SETTINGS> <GENERAL> and near the bottom, where it says <video rendering and playback> You need to set this to "Mercury Playback Engine Software Only"

Good luck

It was probably the Mercury setting above. I never called Adobe, had them call, and I never asked if the issue was resolved, it probably was since they never mentioned it.
