Problem converting 1080p

When i convert a 1080p, and only convert 5 min of it to test it, it plays fine on my LED tv through USB, but when I convert the whole movie the EXACT same way, it doesnt play. And iv tried at least 5 converters.

What am I doing wrong, or do you know a converter?

Could be anything. A codec, converter, system problem, etc. Did it ever work? when did it start doing this? what happened then?

I started with a BDrip. When I converted it, i choose for the duration to be 00:05:00, and it worked beautifly. When I set duration to the length of the movie (1 sec short just in case), it didnt work. It said Not supported Video Data.

Im converting from MKV to mp4, because i have other mp4 that play on the TV. I tried Xilisoft video converter, and 4Media HD converter.

You should try handbrake. I love it.
HandBrake

I'm converting a mkv to mp4 now. Under the video tab I selected MPEG-4 (FFmpeg). You can also select H.264 (x.264).

Set the constant quality to 100% or it may look lossy.
