    Windows Media Player Dual Monitor

    Hi,

I cannot see the exact same problem listed elsewhere so decided to list myself.

I have a PC with windows 7 and a monitor and TV connected via 2nd VGA port on my video card.

The displays are setup as extended desktop with different resolutions.

When I play a video in Windows Media Player, I would like the TV to display Fullscreen but the Monitor to stay as is.

Windows XP used to do this with the same hardware.

I have the same setup in my bedroom with another computer running windows 7 and that doesn't woek either.

    Where am I going wrong?

    Regards

    Paul

    Hey gtopaul,

    Welcome to sevenforums,

I have a similar setup, all do to get full screen on my second screen is to double click the the player.
It then stays in full screen mode regardless what I do on the main monitor.

If you however swap it around and play the video on the main monitor in fullscreen and decide to work on the extended one, I find that if I perform a double click the taskbar appears on the main monitor.

    Do you experience the same?

To make sure I understand you, do you want your TV to start in full screen mode automatically?, the only way I know is to drag the player accross to the extended monitor and perform a double click.

Can you be a bit more clear of what you aim to achieve? :)
