No sound in Windows DVD Maker preview

I shot a video with a Canon FS200 camcorder and edited the video with Windows Live Movie Maker. So far so good. Now I want to make a DVD of the clips. I am using Windows 7 Premium with the DVD Maker program. After I got the video file into the DVD Maker I clicked on the Preview button. The video played but there was no audio. Of course I did not click on the Burn button because I want to see a good preview first with sound.

What am I doing wrong? Is there anything I can do to fix the preview function?

I'm not getting any audio on my preview either, I don't think you're doing anything wrong, If you play your edited video in your player do you get sound?

You could also publish to your hard drive and check that before burning to DVD.

Is it because windows can only play WMA type rather than MP3?

We don't know if the audio is an mp3 format.
TommyO, Can you play the video in VLC Player and hear the sound?
