no option to rip cds

I have bought a copy of windows 7 32 bit home and one of the things I want to do is rip cds to my music library but I have searched and searched and there does not appear to be an option to be able to do this. I have looked on the help topics and they all say push the rip CD button but I don't have one.

Please help
