Windows 7: Iphone users: itunes alternative for media

In general I really dislike using itunes. The program is pretty bloated and I don't think it really does anything spectacular other than help manage my phone. So I have been looking into ways to still reliably manage the music on my Iphone without having to use itunes as my audio player.
The problem is I don't want to have to spend a lot of time managing playlists on both itunes and another player or ratings. I have toyed around with musicbridge which works well, but I was wondering if anyone else has come across a better solution or other alternatives.

I like Zune 3.0, but the music managing that I do there has no way of transferring over to my phone.
