I don't know if there is a way to speed up a gif, you can probably do that in photoshop or gimp.

Hello,

Can someone please tell me how to uninstall this?

The Windows 7 Gif View is not working for me. So I don't want it on my computer any more.

Can someone please help?

Thanks!

Thanks for the reply, but I am under the impression that I need these two files...

That rundll32.exe is essential to running Windows stuff, and shimgvw.dll ... I dont know...

I'm worried because RunDLL32 is a common name used by hackers to mask their viruses... backdoor virus... ahhhhh

Help!

Ok... I am being silly... DOH! not the same rundll32 in the System folder... I see, so I can just delete these suckers! Haha!

What about registry keys? I ran regedit and searched for "Windows 7 Gif" I found a couple entries... buttttt, I don't know if it's safe to just delete them...

I don't want anything to do with this "fix."

It didn't work, and I realize it's super unsafe. I'll just drag and drop my gifs into Firefox

Not 100% sure about the registry entries (I would just leave them there harmless) but its perfectly fine to delete those two files the program puts in the root of you C:\ drive not the ones in the system folders.

Is it possible to make it so that it opens files in the current order that its sorted in a folder?

That is, when you press left and right, it opens the file with the next alphabetical name, but say you have the pictures in the folder sorted by date and you want to open them in that order.

Mine plays them by order arranged in the folder by default
