    Hey Carlo,

I found two computers with your description, which is yours?
The website to find the drivers is here: http://www8.hp.com/us/en/support-dri...b-00004b1d97e0

Is the wireless light indicater on?
If the wireless light is blue then the wireless device is on. If the wireless light is off then your wireless device is not turned on.

Some have a button/slidder switch that you use to turn on and off the wireless device while some models have a pressure sense button usally located on the bezel and looks like it is just a light but is actually a switch, it will have signal waves on it and all you have to do is touch it with your finger tip to turn it on/off.

    Thanks for the reply mate.

My HP G6000 GT530EA#ABU had a WIFI error when I upgraded my OS from VISTA Home Basic to 7 Ultimate 32 bit. Before I upgraded to 7, the wifi was okay.

All I see in the device manager in the network tab is NVIDEA only, I dont find my Broadcom driver on it.

I did all the researched on net and got no luck. BTW, I know almost bout computer troubleshootings, tweaks, etc.

HP WIFI problem is common as what Ive searched on the net, I did all the necessary driver update and still fails to function the WIFI problem, all I see is an amber color instead of blue.

and also, the other post that Ive posted still didnt resolve the problem bout error 0x8007045d

maybe you'll get a new computer with a new operating system

This may be a bit drastic, but you can try a complete reinstall. What is good about this is it is clean and has fixed a lot of problems: Clean Install with a Upgrade Windows 7 Version

Read all the warnings and make sure you are actually able to perform it
