[SOLVED] Networking question (Apple TV Related)

    Hi,

I have just brought a set of Belkin Homeplugs and I can surf the internet fine with them on my PC and the download speeds are top notch in iTunes but I have come up against a slight issue. When using the Homeplugs, my iTunes account cannot detect my Apple TV (though it does perfectly when I switch back to my wireless N connection). I've spent a few hours trying all different things and I have come to the conclusion that the Homeplugs will not allow me to sync my Apple TV. I was thinking, would it be possible to somehow setup my wireless connection to only be used to sync my Apple TV with my PC (as my purchases download direct to the Apple TV and I need to sync them to my PC to back them up) and the Homeplugs to be used solely for my internet connection? I would of just stuck with the Wireless N, but sometimes the download speeds can be terrible at times (3hrs to download a 2.1tb TV show from iTunes rather than 16-20 minutes max it usually takes).

    Thanks in advance.

    Cheers,

    Ross

    Answered my own question

I setup the wireless connection with a dedicated IP and made its default gateway the Apple TV's IP. All is good now
