router connection drops?

    well my router is 6 years old so maybe the connection is weak, i restarted it and ran as admin no problems so far

    Same problem - but not quite


    I also have the same problem win EH100 eHome router but the connection drops between the router and the Motorola cable modem.

    I can access the router as admin from my PC but when I go into status the IP address shows as 0.0.0.0 and the message is something like "PPPOE connecting ...."

    Of course the router is more than 4 years old but still.....

    Thanks for any advice.
