    Can't Connect to Wireless Network

I have a new laptop from my school district. When at school, I am connected to our network through a docking station. When I brought it home and tried to connect to my wireless network, it doesn't give me the option to put in my network key. It shows my wireless network but when i click connect it gives me the message "Windows was unable to connect to this network"... Any help or ideas would be appreciated.

First you should make sure that your router is using WPA2-AES for encryption. Most Win 7 drivers prefer this method of connection.

The links below might also help you to diagnose the problem.

    Thanks for the info...

I had to go into my Network and Sharing Center and then Manage Wireless Networks then I had to manually add my network.
