I was testing this out the other day. You can have them both plugged in at the same time but Windows will automatically use the wired connection when they are both plugged in. The second you unplug the wired connection the wireless one will take over.

Hi, sorry to revive such an old post. I was looking for this in google and this post appear so I thought it would be cool if whoever get in here get the answer..
In Control Panel, double-click Network Connections.
Right-click a network interface, and then click Properties.
Click Internet Protocol (TCP/IP), and then click Properties.
On the General tab, click Advanced.
Clear the Automatic metric check box, and then enter the number 1.
Do that for the lan interface and the wireless interface. That way is going to use both networks indepently at the same time so a program like utorrent which can use many connections at the same time, will take full advantage of your 2 networks
Thanks agroferia......
now i dont have those two connections also. but thanks for reply. i will try this later
hi agroferia, welcome to sevenforums,

i take it that each connection is to a different router?
