Windows Could not set up ISC?

    Hi everyone,
So i am currently running Windows 7 Ultimate and (via LAN Connection) i have connected to the internet from my Windows Xp Desktop Computer. I now want to share that connection via Wireless AD HOC connection to other laptops. I have gone through the "Normal" procedure of:

Control Panel - Network and Internet - Network and Sharing Center - Set up a new connection or Network - Set up a Wireless ad hoc (computer-to-computer) network - Typed up the network name and so on and so forth -

and i have clicked Turn on Internet Connection sharing but after it says "setting up your internet sharing" or what ever it is, it says "Windows could not set up Internet Connection Sharing (ICS).

I have Googled it and found out that when i go into Network and Sharing Center and click Change adapter settings and then click my wireless network connecton and click properties, then sharing, and click "Allow other network users to connect through this computers internet connection" that i should be able to use ICS (Internet Connection Sharing) but when i do it it says:

"An error occurred while Internet Connection Sharing was being enabled.

The service cannot accept control messages at this time."

so the question is.....What do i do?

Sharing a Wi-fi connection isn't the same as sharing a wired one. To have your machine act as a Wi-fi access point you need a program called connectify which is free. Although the sharing machine may need to be Windows 7 in order for this program to work.
Connectify - Turn your Windows 7 laptop into a Wi-Fi Hotspot
