Constant connection drops

    I thought you said the firmware on it was from 07, now it's changed to 09 in the last few minutes or did you update it just a minute ago? Is this a wired or wireless connection?

    updated it while googling, now i grabbed dd-wrt.v24_micro_generic.bin from '10 beta build but gonna see if she fixes it

    now reading: Firmware: DD-WRT v24-sp2 (08/07/10) micro Time: 19:27:39 up 1 min, load average: 0.20, 0.07, 0.02

    Oh ok I was confused there, yes I would test out the new firmware for a day or so and see how it goes. Please report back in and let me know if it works any better for you.

    ive been seeing this since the begining of the month, i know i have a connection as that is how i can post.i think its to do with isp connection being very low at the moment

    Of course you must, make it beg for mercy. If it can't take the stress then hopefully a better driver will come along or driver adjustments will be needed.

    Of course you must, make it beg for mercy. If it can't take the stress then hopefully a better driver will come along or driver adjustments will be needed.
    just tore a wifi card out of my old pc and gonna try it in this (well not that old of a pc card came with the router lol)

    Wi-fi won't work as well as the wired connection but pretty much anything is better than a dropped connection.

    The problem is that most every LAN-eithernet driver for your board is for XP - Vista and not Windows 7. I've been looking for awhile now. Maybe the manufacture's site will have a better or newer one.

    the one i found from the manu's wevsite was outdated and win 7 automatically updated it
