    Wireless Sharing, Xbox Live, LAN.

I have been trying to connect my xbox through my HP Mini 210-1142CL.

    Some Issues I have.

    1. No "Sharing option" for my wireless network
    2. There isn't a local area connection in Adapter Settings.
    3. I even tried downloading the "lan driver for win7" from HP site and that didnt work

    Thank you so much.

Please can you give us some more detail about your network setup, please specify how everything is connected.

    Modem, Router, WiFi, Ethernet etc.

In the mean time ensure you have all the most up to date drivers installed an all Windows updates installed.

I am using a netbook, HP Mini 210. Wireless.
I want to connect an ethernet cable from my xbox to my pc and get WiFi. There is no "Sharing" option for my wireless connection.

I presume you are using Connect to Xbox LIVE using Internet Connection Sharing: Xbox 360 | Xbox Support as your guide.

You may have to install a driver for your Ethernet if it is not showing up.

Test that the Ethernet (LAN) is not working by disabling your WiFi on your PC and connecting your PC to your router using an Ethernet cable and then try and browse the Internet.

If it isn't working go to the start menu and type device manager and hit enter.

Under the networking (or something to that extent) section that appears choose your Ethernet card. From here follow the tutorial at Driver Install - Device Manager

You may have to use the driver at Realtek PCI-E Fast Ethernet NIC Driver for Microsoft Windows XP HP Mini 210-1000SA PC - HP Customer Care (United States - English) but ai am unsure whether this driver will work.

I hope this is of some use.
