windows 7 don't play well with windows 7,

there is no wifi in my work,.....

ok i been trying to figure this out for days.. when i am trying to do is to give internet over wireless to my laptop at my work, i done this more then 100 times, and it worked 100% when it was windows xp. my laptop is windows 7

2 network cards, 1 for internet, 1 for ad-hoc sharing , under windows xp it worked so perfect, everything is well, fast connection.

last week i got windows 7 at my work desktop and i setup the same way i would on the windows xp and everything is up and running. but when i try to go online on my laptop it would be so slow..... it will work but just very slow.. and once i load up hulu, youtube or any program that needed huge bandwidth it would crash the network,, making both laptop and desktop no internet for atlease 5~10 mins.

i then booted up my old windows xp and re-connect my laptop and it's up and running,

speed test :
windows xp as host = laptop net speed would be 1000~3000k/s
windows 7 as host = laptop net speed would be 10~30k/s ( when it hits 30k it crash the network )

i don't know what is going on...
all firewall are turn off,, i even try turning off AntiVirus , no hope...........

I will bet you are using homegroup for networking. Homegroup is primarily for win 7 machine networks.. Workgroup for mixed.

Homegroup has connectivity issues on mixed networks especially with older hardware. to test setup a new network connection using workgroup
