Can't connect with Remote Desktop Connection I really tried everything read every guide....
i have a HP probook 4510s laptop
and i'm trying to connect to my desktop computer...
both running genuine Windows 7 ultimate, same version.
both computer are connected to the same wireless router.
i changed the laptop's remote desktop port so i can port forward the remote desktop connection on both computers.
in the control panel i enabled in both computers the remote access and stuff, like in those guides.
both computers are on the same workgroup.
when i type in the local ip address of the desktop, it won't let me connect.
it says that the computer is shut down, or not connected to the network, or that the server doesn't allow remote access.
what can i do?
i tried LogMeIn but it's slow, I want to connect over the home network.
thanks for the help! | My System Specs |
