Windows 7: One user account has internet access the other does not

Well the problems I have with windows 7 keep coming. This is the flavor of the day. My wifes user account has internet access but mine does not. What could cause that and why? Any help is greatly appreciated.

we could use a ton more info. system specs, network setup, clean install or upgrade, admin user or regular, the list goes on.

try to create new account. and see it's work or not.. and would be nice if you fill your specs.

WOW! I may not even be replying correctly which shows my knowledge of the modern computing etiquette. The amount of information that one would need to be able to determine if a program is not working properly is fairly signficant. My respects go to those who have absorbed and understand it all. Hopefully with continued efforts I will to. I am on the same network as my XP computer and it has none of the problems as the windows 7 so it is easy for us novices to jump to conclusions. I did restore back to a previouse restore point of that day and now my internet works. I am not sure why but will do a little research. Thanks for reading my post and giving me things that I should be aware of.
