I hope this is in the right place and I hope it will be useful for someone such as myself who has only now upgraded to Windows 7 only to find that the instructions for iPredator (for Vista) don't work in Windows 7. This is how I eventually did it so I thought I'd post it here.
First of all, delete the iPredator network you may have created before you make a new one:
Click on the network icon and select to do to open the network and sharing centre.
Click 'Change Adaptor Settings' in the left hand frame.
Right click on iPredator and delete it, confirm if needed and close the window.
Next to back to the network and sharing centre main page
Click the "setup a connection or network" option
Select "connect to a workplace" and click 'Next'
Next choose "Use my internet connection (VPN)"
In the 'Internet address' box type: vpn.ipredator.se
In the 'Destination name' box type: iPredator
Tick the bottom box -'Don't connect now: just set it up so I can connect later'. then click 'Next'.
Type in your name and password.
If you want the connection to remember the pasword, place a tick in the box, then click 'Create'
On the next screen click 'CLOSE'
Now go back into the "change adapter settings" part of the control panel.
Hilight and then Right click on the iPredator connection and choose 'properties'.
In the window for the iPredator connection do these settings:-
GENERAL tab shouldn't need any changes
OPTIONS tab I un-check the "prompt for name, password, certificate, etc..." and "include windows login domain" boxes
SECURITY tab set "type of VPN" to "Point to Point Tunnelling Protocol (PPTP).
Set the data encryption to "Maximum strength encryption (disconnect if server declines)"
Click "Okay"
Now if this is the first time you have made this new connection in your Windows session you can start the connection
If you have already tried this one or more times you will have to restart the PC and then restart.
