printer migration strategy
apologies if this isn't in the correct category. if so please advise otherwise...and i can re-post...
i'm looking into a windows 7 professional x64 migration.....one of the things that has come up is a decent printing strategy........
we are planning to roll out new printer servers 2008 r2 with x64 bit print queues during the rollout..during this phase the old printer server for the xp clients will still be online until everyone else is cut over.
the only thing is we don't want the windows 7 pcs to see the old queues and conversely we don't want the legacy xp clients to see the new queues.....
is there anyway we can do this via group policy preferences for windows 7 / client side extension for gpp in xp
any brain waves / answers / comments on a postcard to....
