| | Remote Desktop Control with Netgear WNR2000 Hi all. I'm currently running Windows 7 RC1 on my desktop and Windows 7 Beta on my laptop. I've tried opening a RDC to my desktop and I just keeping getting the "Remote Desktop can't connect to the remote computer for one of these reasons: 1) Remote access to the server is not enabled..." popup screen. I definitely have RDC enabled in my system properties and I have port 3389 forwarded. Is there something I'm missing? I'm starting to think it might be a problem with my router, although I've tested the port and it should be forwarded correctly. Can someone else confirm that RDC does work on 7 RC1? Is there anyone else with a Netgear WNR2000 that got RDC working? thanks. |
