can't click on wireless connection tab

    Hi everyone

as you can tell,i have a problem with my network connections. This morning, everything was working just fine. i was connected on my wireless conection and using it as usual. However, i had to bring my laptop at school, so i brought it at school. now, trying to connect to the wireless conection there (its supposed to be already set up, it isn t the first time i bring my laptop with me), i find out that i cannot click on the wireless botton on my start menu, at the right. I do see the caracteristic picture for "unloged wireless network, but detected connections" (the 5 bars with a yellow sun on it) but i cant click on it to bring up the connection list. it just doesn t do anything if i go in the network and sharing center, clicking on "connect to a network" doesnt do anything, just like there was no option to do so there. its not even a blank connection sheet (like a tab saying that no network connections were detected) but the tab itself doesnt show up. and now, worse, now i cant even connect home

im positive that the network card is seeing the connections, but somehow, i cant see the tabs. help would be apreciated, as i tried lots of things (reseting the card, reinstalling drivers, looking in services...)

    thanks
