    regarding sharing.

Am having a server and a client. Both connected via LAN.
    Sever(Windows Server 2003) and client(Win 7 professional)

in Sever i kept a shared folder, when am trying to access from client using server host name, its saying check spelling mistake,But correct spelling name am following.
but the same folder i can access via IP number,

when i ping with host name its pinging..
i added the host name in system file also.. its not working.

if i restart the client, i can connect through host name for some time only..

To get Windows 7 working with server 03 you need to relax the security settings. Windows server 03 is older than some of the new security features, so you need to disable them.

Control Panel - Administrative Tools - Local Security Policy

    Local Policies - Security Options

Network security: LAN Manager authentication level
    Send LM & NTLM responses

Minimum session security for NTLM SSP
    Disable Require 128-bit encryption
