change your type of connection to Ad-Hoc instead of infrastructure/AP.

This is done by viewing the properties of the usb adapter, configure, advanced tab. the iphone may also need to be switched to ad-hoc mode as well

RTL8187 fix for windows7 (Working Version)

i had my RTL8187L working already in windows 7. i found a fix by someone ("msimango")("Realtek 8185 wireless connection problem in w7 x64") who had made it to work with his RTL8185.

what i did was download and installed the windows7 version of the program within the realtek site ("Realtek") then i closed the utility and i changed the 8187.ini with this line below. after editing or replacing the 8187.ini try to run the utility again. it will be ok now

for those with other model chips like the RTL8185. look for the 8185.ini then use the lines above. just dont forget to change the 8187 to 8185 part in the RtWLanTitle and Model_Name. so you wont get confused with your part number everytime you look at its utility.
