router light flash

    router light flash


    i was wanting to know why when one of the computers is off on the router why is the flashing when the computer is off the connection is in the computer but why is the light flashing where the the it is connect to it's not constanly flash but why is the connection to the computer and router light still flashing constantly for 5 secs and then flashing every 5 secs or so this may be a silly question but can you still answer me

    i do not know the number but that is the picture of it i was wanting to know why does the connection flash when the comp is off all i want to know is it normal for the yellow light unde internet 1 or 2 where the connection is in to flash every while even when the computer is off

    Even when your computer is off, it is still partially on. This is so it can be remotely booted up via LAN (usually only applicable in a business setting, not a home one). The only way it can be completely off is if the mains plug is unplugged.
