    Acess Denied on Wife's Computer

I am about to give up, I cannot get my wife's computer to let me access her files Via the network (I want to be able to access all her files not just a few.) I have 3 other machines on the network, no problems accessing the files on them, There are 4 computers on the network, all are running windows 7 , all have the same workgroup name, all have the same homegroup password, I have shared all the drives on wife's computer, even shared folders in the homegroup, still no joy, have set permissions till I am blue in the face. I have no idea why windows 7 has so much security, I have no info on any of my computers that requires that level of security, I wish I could just disable it, I never had any problems with Windows XP, I may go back to it for this reason. Thanks

You mention workgroup first then homegroup. If you are running homegroup it has sharing issues on some systems (esp older hardware). If homegroup you can test to see if this is the problem by creating a new network connection using workgroup. If it works you can disable IPv6 and homegroup;.
