I was having a challenge with Windows Firewall, i added Connectify to the allow list but it still didn't work.

I found settings under "Connecting Security Rules. Added the ip address for the touch and turned on the firewall. Seems to be working and since I'm not keen on security stuff, I'm assuming I'm protected.
Ye that should be fine if you are just allowing that 1 I.P. address out.

Well thought the above was working . Got a valid ip address on my touch but still not getting through with the exception.
Must not have done something correct but out of my expertise.
I was having a bit of trouble with this too, i added the exceptions in but still didn't work while Windows Firewall was switched on.
I will investigate...
Got this back from my e-mail to Connectify support. "Could you generate and attach a log file by going to the tray icon's Support menu and clicking 'Generate Log File'?"
Did one with and w/o Window's Firewall on.
Stay tuned.
Got this but haven't had time to ck it out yet.
