    Can't get to internet, Win 7 using dialup ? ?


    I can't get to the internet anymore with my Win 7 Ultimate. It keeps trying to use dial up. And when I go to the Sharing Center and pick the connect using broadband or wireless, etc. And I chose Broadband, it keeps going to a dialup screen asking for passwords and user names. I can seem to find the right screen to get Win 7 to fix the broadband connection. Help please.

    Open IE8, from the tools menu select "Internet Options", from the resultant Internet Properties dialog box select the Connections tab at the top. From there, you can either choose to remove the Dial Up Connection if you wish, or just simply choose the radio button that says "Never dial a connection"

I need to test a website and wanted to be able to simulate dial-up speeds, is that possible? BTW, I have a 20mb cable connection and would like to also be able to simulate a 1 mb, 5 mb, and anything else.

Just got a New HP 6210y. 6gb ram 640gb drive amd II x4 processor with windows 7 home premium. Computer works fine, except when I try to browse the internet IT runs SLOW. Literally as slow if not slower than dial up. My other pc's (XP) on the network work just fine on the net. I have spent 4 or 5...

hi guys, hoping you can give me a little advice, basically my ISP has completely borked my internet so im back on dialup for a while :cry: but ZA wont update because the connections too slow and it ties out before the update finishes, any advice on a good one for dialup?
