clearing networks

    clearing networks


    i have had problems with my connections and ended up with 5 connections,some of which work but most don't.Can someone tell me how to clear them all form the computer so as i can start afresh?
    EG: mynetwork,mynetwork1,mynetwork2 etc etc

    Easy, right click the wifi icon in system tray>open network and sharing>manage wifi connections>right click>remove.

    Thanks ,i managed to remove two of them as that's all it showed but am still connecting to mynet5 and would prefer to get back to mynet?
    EG have no connections and start afresh .

    From a Command Prompt, enter

    netsh interface set interface name="mynet5" newname="mynet"

    Actually, you can set it to anything you want, Windows doesn't care.

    Thanks for reply.
    I have decided to live with the problem as i am connected and it is running well with a good signal and don't want to mess with it any more as i am fed up reconfiguring it.
    i have bookmarked this in case things change.
