    Can't access network files

Both PC's on Win7, file sharing on. Was able to access files fine but suddenly stopped working, times out when I try to expand the shared folder. The other PC and the shared folders show up on both ends but I cannot see the files. I can ping both ways either to the IP or hostname. Sometimes the files WILL show up after several mins but when I try to open them it just hangs. I reset the router (powered off/on) but no luck. Also tried rebooting both PC's into other versions of Win7 that I know worked with the network but same problems. The common element here seems to be the ADSL router??? Internet access coincidently is very slow (almost a minute to load a page)

No reason permissions would have changed.

Anyways it is working now after switching the modem/router off/on and changing wires around. Strangely it was the wired PC causing the problem
