    Problems with hotel wifi

I have an Asus S6F notebook with XP SP2 dual booting with Windows 7 Ultimate. I have found that I am unable to get internet access using hotel wifi under Windows 7 - I can only get access using XP.
I can connect to the access points using Win7, but I don't get shown the hotel wifi logon page.
I've found this at 2 hotels so far - the Hilton Grand Vacations in Las Vegas and the Capo Bay Hotel in Cyprus.
Are there default security settings in Win7 which I need to change in order to use hotel wifi access points?

Most likley this is a driver problem. Your Asus S6f notebook was made for Windows XP so finding the correct drivers for Windows 7 may be a problem. I looked around but didn't see any, still looking. I can't find any listed at the Asus site for this model.

Thanks for your reply. I have no problems connecting to my wireless access point at home - internet connectivity there is no problem. I only have the problem when using hotel hotspots with their security mechanisms. Do different drivers handle this security differently?
