Turning off windows firewall turns on file sharing & network discovery

I am using kaspersky internet suite and disabled windows firewall. The problem is that turning the windows firewall off turns the pulic/home file/printer sharing and network discovery on.

Turning on or off these settings starts the firewall.

Disabling the firewall service permanently allows file sharing and network discovery for both public and home network, which cannot be turned off.

I tried uninstalling kasperksky but nothing has changed.

Is this how windows works? or is it just my machine?

I have the exact problem. I have tried with cmd in admin mode the "netsh advfirewall set AllProfiles state off" command but it didn't change anything, same behaviour. I have unchecked the file and printer sharing in local area and wireless properties.

Have you found a solution to it until now?
