'Unidentified network' while trying to connect to the internet

Hey guys!
I just moved back home and installed my PC. I have a static ip adress from my isp to connect to the internet using a LAN cable. The internet works fine on my notebook with the static ip's i am posting this through it.
My PC has two onboard LAN cards (P5Q-Deluxe MB), one Marvell Yukon 88E8001/8003/8010 PCI Gigabit Ethernet Controller and one Marvell Yukon PCI-E Gigabit Ethernet Controller. On my notebook i have a similar Marvell Yukon PCI-E Gigabit Ethernet Controller.
I have downloaded the newest drivers from the Asus website, installed them, didin't work, installed the latest driver's from Marvell Yukon Website didin't work either.
The internet has worked properly before on this PC but with 7 x86 i am now running 7 x64 Enterprise (my notebook is x64 home premium). Another thing i should mention is that i coudn't get it to work with linux either, no ping replies.
I have tryied disabling/enabling one card at a time and no success. Could it be a hardware problem, since on my notebook works fine? Could both LAN cards break down simultaneously? I get the same details when typing ipconfig on both my notebook and my PC. If you have any solutions for me i would be very gratefull! What could it be the problem?

Which is why I asked for an ipconfig /all screen shot?

You would need to type those commands "ipconfig /all" without the quotes into your command prompt then post the screen shot here for me to look at like in the picture below.

Do you have and software from apple installed on your system such as Itunes or adobe photo suite?

I don't have any apple software installed, sorry i forgot about the pic


Also i should mention that today i installed a Linksys WRT120N, but after properly configuring the device i could get no internet nor on my pc nor on my notebook, the WLAN worked ok. I have changed the nip and the whole cable from the modem to my router and pc and still no luck.

Did you enter your DNS servers manually because it doesn't look like your DNS is coming from the default gateway through the router. It usually works best to assign the DNS using the routers set up page.

Are you saying that the ipconfig /all shows the same IP address on both machines? If that is the case then DHCP isn't working right or the same static IP's have been assiged to both machines.

I don't have the router installed now, but when it was installed i typed 192.168.1.1 in chrome and choosed static ip and entered the dns adresses there, the LAN card was set to obtain ip adress automaticly, and it did recieve 192.168.1.101 from the router but the internet was still not working.

I am not running the two machines simulateously, i plug them in one at a time, for the notebook everything is ok, for the PC i get Unidentified Network, no internet access.

Sorry, I meant would you PULL one network card for testing purposes.

I cant do that, both cards are onboard, i did disable one at a time from bios though.

And did you say if you hardcoded the ip address on the pc?

I entered the ips manually if that's what hardcoded means :)

And... did your problems start after the Linksys router?

No, i bought the router because i will eventually need it and i thought it would possibly be a solution.

Also, what encryption are you using on the Linksys? Try turning it off for testing purposes (but return to WPA2-personal when solved).

I will try without the encryption as you said...

And... can you ping your router?

I tryied without encryption. No luck, but i do get PING REPLYIES.
