Use GP or logon/logoff script
Hi, 1st wanted to commend you on this post. Great information. I have scoured the net looking for a GPO to hide the network from the libraries window like you can hide network in XP, and I dont believe there is one. I need to push this change out to multiple computers on specific logon accounts. Would it be best to make a group policy template for this, or to use a logon script to make the change and then logoff script to change it back? And can I make the permissions change on the key in a script? It is a mixed environment of windows 7 and XP. "Network" needs to be hidden only for some users.
