| | Error 691 when connecting to my PPPOE connection Hi, I'm getting Error 691 "The remote connection was denied because the user name and password combination you provided is not recognized, or the selected authentication protocol is not permitted on the remote access server." whenever I try to connect to my ISP. I have retyped the username and password dozens of time, I even deleted and made connection again. But no luck. I used the same user name and password before in my previous installation of Windows 7 Professional 32bit (on the same pc and NIC card). Now, I'm using Windows 7 Ultimate Edition 32bit. This error is really pissing me off. |
