Windows 7: Network error; there is a problem accessing

Network Copy of files > 4meg

I have the same problem as those spoken of here. Any file copying to the network mapped drive that requires the copy window to show goes down on an error. I have tried all the other items found elsewhere i.e. auto tuning, differential compression to no avail.

My computer network card is capable of gigabit but the network to which it is connected is only capable of 100mb full duplex. With the network card set to auto or 100 full duplex the error occurs.

The only thing that works is to set the network card to 100 half duplex.
