I just keep getting a error message after a long search that its one of 3 problems. remote access not enabled, computer turned off, and computer not available on network. Thats my remote desktop problem. Now my shutdown command problem just states "access denied (5)" Im guessing the cause is the same for both problems. Im able to connect to either pc through networks and also homegroup. Any suggestions? Thanks
Hi and welcome
what version of windows are you running (ultimate, pro, home, etc) anything lower than pro (i think) cant initiate a rdt connection.
By the way there is a free and much easier to use alternative called team viewer. You really should try it
