VPN in windows 7 using Virtual XP mode.

I use a VPN service. Configure for Windows 7 with no changes to my router(Uverse) I have no issues connecting. However I am trying to use the same VPN connection on the Virtual XP window with-in windows 7 and I am unable to connect in that world. I keep getting a "error 619". I can connect to the internet so I do have a network connection. I also turned off the firewall in the XPmode thinking that was the issue and no changes. I thought I needed to open the ports in the Uverse router but that did not help either.

The main ports my VPN uses is 1273 and 47

So If I Connect in windows 7 it works I disconnect it and open virtual xp. That is where the problem is....

Any ideas Seven Folks?

I'm pretty sure Virtual XP automatically configures the network connection to use NAT.
Set up your Virtual XP machine (in Virtual PC interface) to use a bridged network adapter.
