no ip on some cisco equipment

for work, I need to get dhcp'd from various cisco router/switch combos, to test the installation of those devices.
on some sites, I just don't get ip'd????
always have all firewalls, that i know of turned off, the public and home firewalls in windows and I disable the comodo package I run.
anything I might be missing when I can't get ip'd?

It's usually best to do all of your testing before the A/V's and third party firewalls are installed. That way if you have any connection or sharing problems you will know what is causing it. Often times uninstalling the A/V's and third party firewalls is the only way to be sure if they are causing the problem or not.

It's very difficult to diagnose these types of problems with the limited information provided.

I'm less concerned about comodo, it has proved to be reliable and works as advertised. it is easy to disable it in its command center
it's more windows that sometimes has something lurking around that is difficult to find.
my basic question would be in win7 home premium is there anything else to disable besides the domain profile, private profile, and public profile?
