How's that even possible? Can i just buy a home near a server, and get super-fast internet connection speeds?

My ISP is a local power company that runs fiber optic lines in their subscriptions.
Available speeds are in 10/100/1000Mb/s

And i just happen to be lucky enough that the server is parked downstairs from my apartment (one of the perks of working for the forementioned power company...)

I do run a Battlefield 2142 server though

IggyAZ, your net speed in 'My System Specs' says 50Gbps downloads and 5Gbps for uploads. I'm confuse with it, is it gbps or mbps?
