My laptop has a VERY weird issue!

I think that this "problems" is Compatibility Assistant doing things witout telling me why!
Can this be because of software problems?

Still no solution for my problem...:/

My wireless connection goes out 4-5 times daily. And its so weird....It happens when i watch "some" episodes of a show...And always at the same time-spot.

Help?

Try this,, uninstall VLC player and try the Portable Version for a while.
Also, have you tried resintalling or updating Video drivers?

Ehm, I can try this! But why should VLC or the Videodrivers mess with the wifi?

Because it's a computer? hehe... no reason really,, you just never know with weirdness and computers.

Hmmm,,, Do you have any other Virtual Software installed,, like VirtualBox, VMWare, VirtualPC, Anything like that?

Ehm, the only elements showing @ device manager is:

Atheros AR5B91 Wireless Network Adapter
Broadcom Netlink (TM) Gigabit Ethernet
Microsoft Virtual Wifi Miniport Adapter #2

The last one, dissapears when the problem occurs...

Ok,, just found this info,...

Windows 7 adds native Virtual WiFi technology from Microsoft Research – istartedsomething

Now you might be asking, “I’ve looked at every nook and cranny of Windows 7 RC, how come I haven’t seen this feature?”. Surprisingly, the feature is in Windows 7 today and has been for quite some time apparently, but hasn’t been exposed due to a lack of driver support. WLAN hardware vendors are required to recompile their drivers with a couple new additions. The good news is that Virtual WiFi functionality is going to be a requirement for WLAN drivers under the Windows 7 certification logo so expect to see it soon.

Assuming it all goes to plan, the feature will be automatically exposed.

“On Windows 7 and later, the operating system installs a virtual device if a Hosted Network capable wireless adapter is present on the machine. This virtual device normally shows up in the “Network Connections Folder” as ‘Wireless Network Connection 2’ with a Device Name of ‘Microsoft Virtual WiFi Miniport adapter’ if the computer has a single wireless network adapter. This virtual device is used exclusively for performing software access point (SoftAP) connections [...]. The lifetime of this virtual device is tied to the physical wireless adapter. If the physical wireless adapter is disabled, this virtual device will be removed as well.”

Maybe your Wireless Drivers are the issue. Maybe they messed something up?
Have you tried uninstalling/reisntalling the WIFI Drivers?

To be honest, I do not have the Virtual WIFI Adapter listed/installed on my system.

Go into Device manager and right click disable the Virtual WIFI Adapter. See what happens.

Maybe your Wireless Drivers are the issue. Maybe they messed something up?

Well, I have uninstalled and reinstalled drivers several times, without luck! :/

And, I have tried to disable and uninstalled the Wifi. But the problems still appears....
So, I dont know..

It should help if you go into device manager again then "disable" the microsoft wifi miniport adaptor. It's been causing problems for quite a while now with certain network set ups.

I can try! But my hopes are not high :P

Maybe my acer has a crappy network-card!?
