Netgear Wireless Adapter not working
I'm trying to get a Netgear WG111 Wireless Adapter to work. No networks are available. Diagnosis produces the message 'There might be a problem with the driver for the Wireless Network Connection 2 adaptor - Windows couldn't automatically bind the IP protocol stack to the network adapter.' The driver is the latest version available and is supposed to work on]Windows 7. The adapter does work on my new PC (Win 7 x64) and on my old laptop (XP). So it's something to do with the PC I'm trying to use it on.
My PC has Windows 7 (32) on it (upgraded from XP (some time ago).
I've tried disabling and re-enabling the adapter and even tried resetting the IP stack (I think) using the command 'netsh int ip reset reset log'. I've tried disabling Protocol Version 6 (TCP/Iv6). All to no avail.
Also the Smart Wizard program won't start (and I've tried a range of compatibility settings) so I can't configure the adapter.
