I really don't know where to start here. I'm really just looking for everyone's opinions on what to do next.
First off, I live in a 5 computer house-hold. We have 4 laptops and a desktop.
We connect to Comcast via a Belkin N router, but most of the PC's are G other then mine and my Android phone is N too.
Randomly for no reason what so ever, web-pages stop loading.
The only fix is to either unplug the modem to reset it, or press the reset button on the Belkin router.
Now one thing I have noticed is that "Torrents" still seem to work about 90% of the time. I can still seed or download my TV shows at full speed but pages just time out.
Yes, I've closed my torrent app (Utorrent) to make sure it wasn't sucking all the bandwidth.
Comcast has been out and replaced all the lines in the house. The drop, the modem and they say all is good.
I've tried two Belkin routers, same issues with both.
This seems to affect all the laptops on the Wifi as well as my desktop which is connected to the router via a cable.
My wife's so annoyed with the issue (messes with her Farmville time LOL, seriously) she wants to shut off the Comcast and get ATT DSL but it's much slower and frankly I'm not sure if it is Comcast.
Thoughts?
