Can t connect to my windows 7 based laptop

    Hey everybody,

I m trying to copie a files from my laptop to my desktop via netwerk.
I can acces files on my desktop but i can t access any data on my laptop.
My acces is in explorer users my profile is locked. (It has a locked key sign before it)
When i go to properties in Users and choose my admin profile (i have another guest profile there) it is not possible to change anything. Everytime i want to change my networksettings to share documents is seems to change but everytime i check again the option for sharing is put on disabled again.

Anybody any tips how to continue on this?
    Thanks

access files on your desktop from where? cant asccess your laptop from where?
Access is in explorer? DO you mean you open explorer and navigate to C:|user|your user name?
You dont access properties from users and chose your admin profile. You log on AS ADMIN.

You dont change network settings to share you change HD files and folders.

Can y ou try to give us more information.

We can also use your system specs, etc.

    Homenetwork – can t connect

Apologies, i m a home user Using Win 7 home premium on my laptop and also w7 premium on my desktop. Both my computers are Acer' computers.
I m able to connect, copie, cut and paste (only in shared folder offcourse) from the desktop but the shared folder on my laptop is not reachable from other computers.
Internet is working fine no issues there! AND LAPTOP IS VISABLE BUT SHARED FOLDER NOT ACCESSABLE

When going to Network it looks all ok
    Type – internet
    Homegroup – connected
    Connections – WLAN (OK)

When I use Win 7 option check for problems (network and internet) I get the following below:
    This problem can't be fixed
    more options-
WHEN I GO TO ADVANCED SETTING VOOR SHARING I AM NOT ABLE TO CHANGE
FILE AND PRINTERSHARING TO ENABLED. I AM ABLE TO CLICK ON ENABLE AND
APPLY BUT WHEN THEN REOPEN ADVANCED SETTINGS THE FILE AND PRINTERSHARING IS DISABLED AGAIN!

One more thing my computer is visable in the network ony not accesable!
When I go to my profile in c users ( I have another guest profile) I see a lock sign at the folder?
